Renewtech opens its German chapter with the acquisition of Esphere Network

With its third acquisition in the span of 13 months, Renewtech has taken its first step into Germany. The move into one of Europe's most important IT markets is a natural next chapter for the refurbished enterprise IT specialist. And it is one that brings German end-user customers a local team paired with the commercial scale of a global circular IT provider.
"Germany is one of the most important IT markets in Europe, so naturally we have been looking at how to build a local foothold and strengthen our one-stop-shop offering. From Day 1, the new Renewtech Germany sales organization will be led from Berlin by Aleksandr Gorkaev, owner of Esphere Network, who brings more than 15 years of experience in the German enterprise networking market. Thereby, Esphere Network’s customers will gain immediate access to Renewtech's full portfolio of server and storage equipment – delivered by the same local team they already know and trust.
Perfect time for change
Since 2011, Esphere Network has been supporting end-user customers, resellers, and brokers with refurbished networking equipment from leading manufacturers including Cisco, Juniper and Arista. In 2024, the company moved into new offices in Berlin and experienced significant momentum in sales to the end-user customer segment. To continue building on that, Esphere Network pursued the next step — and that step is becoming Renewtech.
"We are well known for our network solutions, but as the market evolves, a full-service position is what makes the difference. We have reached a point where joining something bigger was the right move. We have worked closely with Renewtech for years, so we know their expertise and their straightforward culture – and that is exactly why this is the right fit," explains Aleksandr Gorkaev, owner of Esphere Network, and continues:

For German customers, the timing matters. With sustainability regulation advancing fast and procurement teams under increasing pressure to meet Scope 3 and CSRD targets, circular IT has shifted from the responsible choice to the smart commercial one.
Foot on the pedal
The pace is not slowing down for Renewtech. Despite completing three acquisitions in Italy, the UK, and now Germany within the past year, the circular IT specialist is far from done – particularly in Germany.

Esphere Network will take the Renewtech name from 15 June 2026 and will immediately be able to offer its existing customers a broader product range across server and storage equipment.
